My Tuesday Tip is dedicated to my cubie mate. While on vacation with her niece, she was reminded that she was a little behind on the upkeep of her pedicure. In today’s busy world we don’t always have the time or money to get a pedicure. Here are a few tips so you don’t have to be remind your behind. I LOVE this product it’s called Spongeables Pedi-Scrub. I use it daily in the shower one side is a soft pre-soaped sponge while the other side exfoliates all while smelling wonderful, I like the Lavender-Tea Tree Oil. They run around $6.00 and you can find it at CVS, Walgreens or even on line. This helps keep my feet feeling nice and soft.
I also try to religiously use a base and top coat on my nails, this extra step helps keep my nails from staining as well as my polish stays longer.
Another tip for dull, yellowish stains on your nails is lemon wedges. Squeeze the juice out of a fresh lemon into a plastic bowl, add half a cup of water and stir to blend. Soak your stained nails in the lemon/water mixture for about 5 minutes. Pat hands dry with a towel, then rub the spent lemon wedge on each stained nail.
Tell us what tricks you use to keep your pedicure looking fresh, and random winner will be picked to win the Spongeables Pedi-Scrub.
