Tuesday's Tip

I wanted to share with you my three favorite homemade exfoliation/scrubs that I love to use. I personally love these because they are inexpensive, easy to do, and I usually always have the ingredients in the house.

LIP EXFOLIATOR

Ingredients

½ tsp. granulated sugar

1 drop honey

Directions

Combine sugar and honey in a small bowl.

Rub the blend onto your lips for 15 to 30 seconds using light, circular motions.

Gently wipe off with a warm washcloth.

I love to put on my coco butter lip balm on after

EASIEST FACIAL SCRUB EVER

Ingredients

1 tbs baking soda

1 tbs honey

1 tbs olive oil

Directions

Blend all ingredients well until you yield a thick paste. Smear all over clean face. If it does not spread easily (because the honey is on the thick side), add a little water to the mix. Rinse with warm water. As you do, you will feel the granules from the baking soda start working as you rinse off the residue completely.

INVIGORATING COFFEE BODY SCRUB:

Ingredients

3 tbsp of caffeinated coffee grounds

1/3 cup white sugar

Directions

Brew a fresh pot of coffee. Enjoy a cup, if you like. Put 3 tbsp of coffee grounds (caffeinated) and 1/3 cup of white sugar in a small bowl.

Use grounds within 20 minutes of brewing before oxidation occurs. Scrub mixture over entire body while in the shower. Rinse.

Coffee body scrubs can be invigorating, and helping you wake up on those difficult mornings.
