Ashley Hebert is ready to start over after Bentley Williams stomped on her heart, and the boys are moving out of the house and heading to Thailand. Elephants, monkeys, and prostitutes, oh my! Did I say prostitutes? This is a family show, my bad! *Side Note* Am I the only one who thinks it's stupid that Ashley has to leave the country to forget about Bentley?
The fist guy getting a date with Ashley is Constantine. Woo Hoo! Congratulations! You've won a date full of oceanic scenery, except it's raining like hell so there's no boat trip on this date. Instead they did some shopping in Phuket, but Constantine thinks talking to a local will give him an insight on his future with Ashley.
The Thailander, who has been married to his wife for over 35 years, says the key to a long relationship is to forgive and forget but to also not try to win. Hey, pretty slick for someone who has no clue (yeah right) that these two are part of a dating game show. Their date is nice and relaxing, they even shared a couple of beers together. He took her mind off of Bentley for a moment, which is what she needed. They ended with dinner, drinks, and a great conversation on the beach. Maybe Ashley is realizing simplicity is a good thing?!? Constantine worked it on their date, and earned a rose.
Meanwhile the rest of the guys in the house are worried about Constantine's A-game.
Next, Ben F., J.P, Blake, Nicky, West, Ben C. Nick, Lucas, William and Ryan have a date. During their group date, they helped with a makeover and added a soccer field at an orphanage for children who lost their parents during the 2004 Tsunami. They all went out for dinner during the evening and Ashley did her best to connect with the guys and take her mind off Bentley... That means alcohol is involved.
After a drink or two, she sat down individually with the men and it looked like she really connect with Ben F. They even shared a kiss. Aww! Ryan also spent some time with Ashely and the other guys are worried he might win a rose.
J.P. thinks if Ryan did win a rose, most of the guys would get their boxer-briefs in a bunch over it. J.P. just happened to be the next one they highlighted during the group date and it looks like he's so worried about making sure she's covered by the umbrella while they're talking more than anything else. Hey, that's super sweet! They couldn't end their moment together without an awesome kiss.
Ashley thinks J.P. and his shaved head are sexy. Get 'em girl! When Ashley was getting ready to announce who won the rose on the group date, Ryan pulled her aside for another individual moment and to try to win the rose. Guess what... It didn't work! Ben F. won the rose! Suck it, Ryan.
The next next person to get an individual date is Ames, and it's raining yet again. When is it not raining on Ashley's parade? Ash and Ames went on a little boat trip and enjoyed some drinks and lunch on the open waters. Ames is a very spontaneous person, yet still grounded at the same time. Ashley wants to know what he's looking for in a woman and Ames says, "there is no list," which might be the best answer I've ever heard out of a man. No big expectations! While at dinner, Ames earned a rose. I'm really starting to dig Ames!
It's elimination time and Ashley wants to make sure there isn't another Bentley in the house, so she grills them during cocktail hour. First up was West, whose wife died after drowning in the bathtub. West says it has been hard to get over it and it's always going to be a part of him, but he thinks he's ready to move on. He's not looking for someone to take his wife's place. Lucas is looking to have a good time and says he's open minded. He divorced his wife because the love was gone but he really wants to get to know Ashley.
Ryan is on everyone's sh!t list and they think he's fake because he's overly excited and happy all the time. The men notice he's different around Ashley than he is around the rest of them. Ashley spoke with Ryan individually and told him he seems happy all the time. He almost seems flustered about being asked about his happy-go-lucky attitude. He's says he's bursting with "a lot of love in my chest," but we'll eventually see the real Ryan before it's over.. Good or bad.
During her conversation with Chris Harrison, Ashley explains her relationship with Bentley and the "dot, dot, dot" left everything open, but she's happy she has opened herself up to the other guys. One person she's not interested in opening herself up to, is West who was eliminated. Hey, when your wife drowns in the bathtub (suspicious whether he had anything to do with it or not), you've gotta be a tad bit nervous about bathing in his presence. Hey, I'm just sayin'!
