Michelle Obama Hosts A-List Fundraiser

The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, raised nearly $1 million last night at a fundraiser featuring a number of Hollywood stars. The A-list party was held in the luxurious modern Westwood, Calif., home of Michael S. Smith - a designer who decorated the White House for the Obamas - and James Costos. Tickets ranged in price from $1,500 to $35,800. 
Michelle told the crowd of more than 350 guests that her husband, Barack Obama, was even involved in the decorating of their new home. “Believe it or not, the President has opinions about his drapes,” she said. After the fundraiser, Mrs. Obama and her two daughters, Malia and Sasha, went to Pizzeria Mozza in L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood. Check out THG's gallery of Michelle Obama pictures!
