Date Dimensions

Have you signed up for a few dating sites and have had no success? It’s time to expand your search and take advantage of offline opportunities. Here are a few ideas to get you out there finding someone new.
Stop filtering your search. By filtering your dating site search to hide all profiles over 5’10” or all brunettes, then you ruin your chances at finding someone special and could be missing out on meeting some fun people. Expand your radius as well from 10 miles to for example 25 miles. Age, salary, and so on can also be adjusted and expanded.
Get off the internet. Internet dating is a great tool and there is nothing wrong with it, but why don’t you get some fresh air as well? Take your dog for a walk in a park or go for a walk in a town. You might meet someone the traditional way before internet dating came.
Go to a class. Interested in cooking? Try taking a cooking class then. Meeting people with similar interests who also are trying to improve a certain skill is a great way to find someone special. You already have a common interest, so going out on a date after class won’t be a problem.
Let your friends know you are single. Tell your friends that you are single and interested in finding someone. They could probably find someone to hook you up with.
Host a party. Why not just host a party for your friends, co workers, and so on and have them invite single friends that they know. This could bring out your social side and expand your opportunities in just one night.
Stop and look at what’s around you. Just take a look and be aware of the things around you. Is there a cute girl you see all the time at the grocery store or another store? Talk to her. Take a closer look at stuff you do daily and you might just find that your true love is closer than you think.
