Nicola Roberts performs in Liverpool, sticks two (metaphorical) fingers up at her critics?

In her second live solo performance EVER, Nicola Roberts appeared much more confident and comfortable with herself as she sang to the crowds in Liverpool.

The singer has told the News of The World?s Fabulous magazine today that her new found "confidence" is all down to going solo, as writing her new album helped her to "discover" the ?real? her.

Because of this Nicola also says she now no longer gives a flying f*** (our words, not hers) about what her critics say about her.

?I don't care what they say now," she said. "It's too mentally draining for me to be bothered. This is how I was born and I've got bigger things to care about than shallow people's opinions of me."

Yeah, up theirs.
