Opening Ceremony Brings On The Reyn 22 Jun 2011, 9:31 pm
Hawaiian prints are riding one gnarly wave—see the Resort 2012 collections of Givenchy, Stella McCartney, and Celine, for starters. And it’s an equal-opportunity trend by the looks of Miuccia Prada’s Spring menswear show, with its kitschy sixties florals. The latest brand to sip the Kool-Aid (make that an Island Punch): Opening Ceremony. The New York-based retailer has announced a capsule collection by the iconic Hawaiian label Reyn Spooner, and the best part (other than their surprisingly reasonable price tags) is you don’t have to wait to get your hands on them. Eight long- and short-sleeve shirts and a handful of breezy dresses and skirts—the 55-year-old label’s first-ever women’s pieces—are available online and at Opening Ceremony’s New York and Los Angeles stores now.
