Comedian Tracy Morgan became the latest celebrity to express his bigoted views in public recently, and the 30 Rock star may soon find himself alongside Michael Richards and Mel Gibson on the list of Hollywood's most notorious prejudiced a-holes.
During a performance at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium earlier this week, Morgan unleashed a hateful homophobic rant that started with the claim that "all this gay stuff is bullsh!t" and only got worse from there. Morgan said that if his son came out as a homosexual he would "pull out a knife and stab (him) to death." As for the ladies, Captain Tolerance added, "There is no way a woman could love and have sexual desire for another woman, that's just a woman pretending that she hates a f*cking man."
The full content of Morgan's tirade just became available last night, and the witness who reported it also revealed a detail that might be more disturbing than the speech itself: the crowd on hand apparently responded with wild applause. Looks like we still have a long way to go, America.
