Three of the main characters from Glee (really the most recognisable ones) will leave the show at the end of next series, it has been revealed.
The creator of the hit show, Ryan Murphy, said that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer?s characters will leave the programme to ?go to college?.
All the actors however are said to be completely fine with the decision. In an interview Murphy revealed:
"You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticise you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.
"We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that was a good idea. They both trust the writing and trust me and felt it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top."
Many of the other main characters, such as Mr Schue and Sue Sylvester, are expected to remain on the show. We should say ?phew!? to that but actually we stopped caring about Glee quite a long time ago. Soz ? but that?s just how it is.
