Featured towards the end of the annual convention's second day, the stars of "Total Recall" were joined together for a panel session dedicated to their forthcoming movie at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday (July 22).
Held at the San Diego Convention Center, the remake film's moment in the spotlight drew out actresses Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel, actors Colin Farrell, Bryan Cranston and John Cho, as well as director Len Wiseman.
During the sitdown, one of the funnier moments occurred when a participant asked Miss Beckinsale to share her feelings over taking over a role originating from Sharon Stone.
Quickly turning into a "Basic Instinct" joke, Kate replied, "I'm doing the (x-rated) pose under the table right now."
Meanwhile, Farrell, who was fresh off of a "Fright Night" panel, told the audience that he loved the Arnold Schwarzenegger starring original - just as he was fond of the old "Fight Night".
On this note, the Irish actor said, "You can love two things, can't you?" Farrell asked. "I thought it was different enough and did not tread the same ground. I loved the idea of a man journeying from a deep, deep slumber to consciousness."
Meanwhile, fans can check out the Comic-Con debuted robotic movie props in a video above and patiently wait until "Total Recall" hits theaters on August 3, 2012.
