I've always admired maxi dresses on other people, but I could never quite pull off the look since the ones I really liked were often too long for my petite height. Thankfully, this has changed after coming across the FUN & FLIRT Floral Print Smocked Maxi Dress in Olive/Rust, which looks very flattering on me. The smocked bodice is comfortable, has adjustable cami straps, and is beautifully detailed with rows of orange, black, and green stitching. The waist continues into a full-length, flared, woven skirt. The fabric is soft and the colors are beautiful and earthy. I've washed it a couple times (cold water is recommended) since receiving it and the colors remained the same.
This dress looks great with my Goldtone Peridot/Topaz Jeweled Rhinestone Peacock Bracelet ($40 at iDesire Fashion Boutique) and Selena Nail Polish ($14 at Julep).
The MISS ME Studded Gladiator Sandals are strappy enough to look trendy and utterly cool without going overboard with an extra amount of straps that go halfway up the calf. The wide t-strap vamp is accented by smaller straps that highlight the sides. This flat sandal secures with two adjustable buckle straps around the ankle. I honestly didn't have high expectations for these sandals, but was pleasantly surprised how comfortable and adorable they are. They're also very true to size.
