4 Impressive Dance Workouts

When it comes to fitness classes, dance-inspired workouts are my favorite — mostly because I'm having so much fun that I don't feel like I'm exercising. Whether it's sculpting my body into a long, lean, machine, or pouring buckets of sweat as I shake my hips, see my favorite dance-based workouts.
Pole Dancing
A sexy pole dancing class will help you release inhibitions while also working on upper body and core strength, coordination, and balance. You'll end up strutting your way out of class with a new-found confidence!
Zumba
Zumba is a nonstop cardio dance class that features aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt the body. Class usually is set to upbeat Latin music, but occasionally you might just hear a mix of Arabic, African, or American beats, too. What's great about Zumba is that it's great for all ages — regardless of fitness level — and you'll be having so much fun, you'll forget it's even exercise.
Ballet-Based Classes
The growing trend of ballet-inspired fitness classes isn't showing any signs of stopping. While classes may differ between different studios (Barre3, Bar Method, etc.), they all aim at lengthening, sculpting, and toning the body into a lean, long, and graceful physique.
Tracy Anderson Method
The Tracy Anderson Method is a huge hit amongst Hollywood's elite. In addition to stretching and strength training, class attendees can expect a fun dance cardio workout set to some of today's hottest jams.
