With The Avengers near-completion, Robert Downey Jr. is already gearing up for his fifth big screen appearance as Tony Stark (counting a cameo in The Incredible Hulk) in Iron Man 3. The actor spoke with The LA Times about the 2013 film and what it's going to mean transitioning from director Jon Favreau to Shane Black.

“The thing about Shane is that it will be anything but one of those moments,” Downey says of the Marvel project potentially matching the sardonic humor of their previous team-up, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, "unless we come up with something that is so cheeky and character-driven and perfect that it has to be in the movie.”

Downey also admits that, despite the box office success of Iron Man 2, there are elements of the final film that he's not entirely satisfied with. The aim for the third go-round is to "leave it all on the field" and fall back on the natural rapport between Black and himself.

“We’re not talking much about [the script] right now," he says, "because Shane is off writing and we talked before that and when we are talking again, the talking is going to be over pretty quick... It’s kind of like we’re fighting on the same side and at the same time we’re circling each other, so it’s all great. It should be great.”

Favreau, meanwhile, is heading off to for the Walt Disney Pictures project Magic Kingdom, though Downey acknowledges -- albeit somewhat jokingly -- that he would like to see the actor/director reprise his role as Stark's bodyguard, Happy Hogan.

Iron Man 3 is currently planned to hit theaters on May 3, 2013.

Jessica Marie Alba (born April 28, 1981) is an American television and film actress. She began her television and movie appearances at age 13 in Camp Nowhere and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). Alba rose to prominence as the lead actress in the television series Dark Angel (2000–2002). In July 2007, Alba spoke out about the breakup, saying "I don't know [why I got engaged]. I was a virgin. He was 12 years older than me. I thought he knew better. My parents weren't happy. They're really religious. They believe God wouldn't allow the Bible to be written if it wasn't what they are supposed to believe. I'm completely different." Alba had at one time said she envisioned a much older man as her ideal partner, making references to Morgan Freeman, Sean Connery, Robert Redford, and Michael Caine. She said, "I have this thing for older men. They've been around and know so much."

Alba met Cash Warren, son of actor Michael Warren, while making Fantastic Four in 2004. Alba married Warren in Los Angeles on Monday, May 19, 2008. On June 7, 2008, Alba gave birth to a baby girl, Honor Marie Warren, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. The first pictures of Honor Marie appeared in OK! magazine, which paid a reported $1.5 million for them. Alba has said that she would like to have more children. On February 16, 2011, Alba confirmed that she and Warren are expecting their second child. On August 13, 2011, Alba gave birth to her second daughter, Haven Garner Warren.
