 Now everyone is thinking about Social Media Optimization (SMO) a bit more than search engine optimization (SEO). Its a fact, now social media is prevailing search engines in terms of traffic. Some are getting more traffic from social media sites than they get from search engine. If we combine both SMO and SEO, we can even double the traffic and revenue.

So you should, first, have good quality content that can influence interest of others. Your title should be catchy. Content is KING and it was prevailing along with SEO search engines but now social media prevailing search engines. So your content can do a lot for you, just let it do for you.

Many websites are distributing content to social networking sites. And what are they getting in return more visitors and more conversions. There's a huge trading market out there and everyone's going sociable.

To sum up, social networks can do a lot for you if you allow them to do. Distribute your content regularly. Be social. Use social widgets and gadgets on your site or blog, so that your visitors share your content to their friends and do work for you.
