Tips to be happy single

Either you’ve recently broken up with your partner or are already looking for someone online or offline, being still single can be at least irritating. However, you can always find ways to embrace your life even in this situation while you’re still waiting for your one and only.
So, here are several valuable tips to follow:
1.       Don’t stay at home. Just because you’re single does not mean you can’t go anywhere on your own, say, watch a movie, go to the park or go out to dinner. Spending time alone lets you try something new, which you never tried before, like ice skating or cooking class.
2.       Find a new hobby. Picking up a hobby gives you a great opportunity to find new friends, spend your time doing things you enjoy and has a positive effect on your lifestyle in general. Now, if you thought about sailing, take a lesson. If you thought of mountain biking, you can always find and join a group via internet. Discover new things and they’ll open new possibilities to you.
3.       Plan the trip. Have you already seen “Eat Pray Love”? If you planned your honeymoon in Italy, then why not go there on your own now to a wine tasting tour, for example? You don’t need to wait for your life circumstances to try something new that you’ve always wanted to try. It’s high time to do something you want, don’t waste your time!
4.       Get rid of the clutter. Many people like to save some happy moments of their lives – old pictures or letters of their exes, for example.  However, this will not help you to move forward in your life. On the contrary, instead of keeping all that clutter, do a cleaning of your house and get rid of that old memory that keeps you in your past.
5.       Don’t spend much time with date-hating friends. Many singles have friends who like to constantly complain about their unhappy dating life. Thus, instead of inspiring you to find your Mr/Ms Right you have to support them even when it’s only their fault that they are so miserable. Instead, try to stick to those friends who share your life interests and do not complain every single day.
