Fill large pot with boiling water. In order to easily peel the peaches, boil water and then dip each peach into the boiling water for 45 seconds.

- quart size freezer bags
- peach, apple or white grape juice - 1 cup per quart
- ripe peaches - cling-free or freestone - need 5 peaches for each quart
- lemon juice in a bottle
- jar funnel
- big pot
- ladle and/or large spoon
How to freeze peaches:
Fill large pot with boiling water. In order to easily peel the peaches, boil water and then dip each peach into the boiling water for 45 seconds.
- Cool peaches. Remove peaches from boiling water and place in a large bowl full of ice water to cool for several minutes.
- Peel peaches. Pull of the skins, remove pits, and slice the peaches however you prefer.
- Add lemon juice. Put about 1/4 cup of lemon juice over your bowl of peaches and stir to prevent browning.
- Put in fruit juice. Add one cup of your preferred fruit juice per quart of peaches.
- Stir up the mixture. Using a spoon, mix the fruit juice in with the fruit.
- Put into Ziploc bags. Using a ladle, spoon the fruit and fruit juice into the freezer bags. Be sure to squeeze out any excess air, and then seal plastic bags tightly. There should be enough juice in each bag to cover the peaches in that bag. If not, add more liquid.
- Freeze peaches. Place the freezer bags filled with peaches and juice upright in the freezer until frozen.
- That's all you have to do in order to freeze peaches. Using fruit juice helps to prevent the freezer burn that can occur if you freeze them dry. When you're ready to use your frozen peaches, unthaw them in the refrigerator or on the counter top for a few hours. You can now enjoy peach pie or cocktails all year long.
