At least one time in your life, you have probably had a mad girlfriend. You may not have even known why she was mad at you. Chances are, the offense was something you did not intend to do. Some women get mad if you pay attention or even talk to their boyfriends or husbands. Other times, a girlfriend will get upset because you bought the same outfit she was wearing last week. Nobody likes to admit it but the main reason women get mad is jealousy.
Fastest Way to Lose a Girlfriend
Jealousy, yes that green-eyed monster that lives inside every woman, is one of the fastest ways to lose a girlfriend. Some women can control jealousy better than others, but you still often hear, "my girlfriend is mad at me. What did I do?"
One way to get a girlfriend mad at you is to buy something better than what she just purchased. If your girlfriend just purchased a very expensive purse and you liked it so much that you wanted one too, it may seem natural to go out and get a bag that suits you. Although this in an innocent enough thing, you may end up with a mad girlfriend on your hands. They say that copying someone is the most sincere form of flattery, but not all women feel that way. If something like this happens, it's best to try and calm your friend down by explaining that you were inspired by her sense of style. Help her realize that you admire her choice. Ease the friction by saving your new bag (or sweater or dress or jewelry) for occasions when your mad friend won't be present.
There are other ways to lose a girlfriend, but you can connect most of them to jealousy of some sort. Another example would be if your friend started selling something from home, and she wanted to sign people up to get her business going. If you signed up and just happened to be better at selling then she was, and made more money or moved up the ladder faster, you would be sure to have mad girlfriend. Again, try and be mature about the situation. Thank your friend for introducing you to the opportunity and then keep from rubbing her face in your success. At this point, make your friendship the focus and save business talk for other people.
Jealousy
Not every friend you have will be jealous of you, nor will you be jealous of every one of your friends. There are those friends that you can count on no matter what. They will be genuinely happy for you when something goes your way, even if you move ahead of them in some way, and you will be just as happy for them when something good happens. Friends like this are the ones that will build you up, so be sure to treat them right and let them know how much you appreciate them.
With other friends, there could be times when all it takes to have a mad girlfriend, is the wrong look at the wrong time. Maybe you or your friend didn't return a phone call. It could have been a simple mistake. Maybe someone didn't get the message that you called (husbands and children are known for not delivering messages) but you or friend will still get mad. It is a shame that deep down inside, women seem to have jealousy built into their very natures. It depends on the friend and the situation but jealousy can cause many mad girlfriends, and lost friendships. Ultimately, if you find your friend (or yourself) getting constantly upset over trivial things, it may be time to go your separate ways.
