Just because he's single again, doesn't mean Brad Womack is ready to stop being a douche. Brad and his ex-fiancee Emily Maynard have been invited to film a special segment for this season of The Bachelorette. Emily accepted, in an effort to show gratitude to the show that made her famous and helped her get engaged. Brad declined, because he's playing the wounded, sensitive guy role in hopes of being cast for a third season of The Bachelor.
Bachelor/Bachelorette host Chris Harrison claims to be good friends with Brad, which makes the whole thing weirder, and makes Brad an even bigger douche for declining the interview. "Both Brad and Emily are friends of mine, and we all really thought the next time we saw them would be to plan their wedding," Chris wrote on his blog. "While he gave his blessing for Emily to speak on their behalf, his emotions are still too raw and he wasn't ready to speak about it."
Well, it's nice that Brad gave her "his blessing" to talk about the moment she realized she was engaged to the world's biggest d-bag and ran screaming. Here's hoping Chris offers to cast her in the next season of The Bachelorette, and give her a chance to meet a guy who's not a total a-hole.
